ABOUT
After many years of a greater vision of service, bound by the constraints of maintaining buildings over 100 years old, mutual members of the Boone American Legion #56, Marine Corps League Detachment #100, and Veterans of Foreign Wars #817, banded together to create the
Boone Area Veterans Center, Inc. (BAVC), a 501(c)(19) tax exempt organization.
At the BAVC we honor and support our veterans. We believe in their strength and resilience, and are committed to helping them embrace their identity, shape their future, and make a positive impact in the world.

The Boone Area Veterans Center is dedicated to serving those who have served by providing support to veterans, their families, and the communities of Boone County.
